Whenever Mom or Dad are out on the property, you can count on one or both of their best friends being there by their side and helping out. If ever there was an odd couple it would have to be Eli and Sammy...LOL
Eli just knows that it is his job to help Mom and Dad out and as long as he is around no one has to worry about either of them because he is on guard watching out and protecting them.

I know mom and dad both complain a little about the animals, but I also know they like the companionship and love the antics. I'm glad they have such loving critters (the dog and cat I mean ;-) there with them.
