Unconditional Love is a dynamic and powerful energy that lifts us through the most difficult times. It is available at any moment by turning our attention to it and using its wonderful potential to free us from our limitations. It requires practice and intent to allow this energy to fully permeate our daily experience. It begins with ourselves, for without self-love, we cannot know what true love can be. In loving ourselves, we allow the feeling to generate within us and then we can share it to everyone and everything around us! That which we send out, returns to us in greater measure. If you have not thought about how you feel towards yourself, physically, mentally, and emotionally, or spiritually, we invite you to do so now. Begin the journey that changes everything. Begin the journey of unconditional love...

I am a total believer in the law of attraction, we get back multiples of what we put out there. The hardest part is conditioning ourselves and more importantly our minds and thoughts to send out gratitude and love. You are right, you have to forgive yourself continually in order to find peace and forgiveness from others and then you have to find a way to love yourself as you are or be strong enough to create the self you want to be. We all have to find a way to forgive ourselves in this life for mistakes we have made, for things that were beyond our control, for things we wish we would have done differently. I heard it once and it has stuck...you don't have to know HOW to forgive, you just need to be WILLING to forgive. One other thought, forgiving others doesn't mean that everything goes away, the memory is still there in most cases. What we all confuse with forgiveness is the steps that follow which include rebuilding the relationship, that doesn't just happen and it may never happen. On our last trip to Hurricane, we listened to the book, The Shack. It is a powerful story about forgiveness. I have read and listened to it many times. I know this is a long comment, but you are so blessed (we all are) to have the unconditional love of 2 great parents. They are the epitome of forgiveness and love.
